Join us as we celebrate 10 years of Haitian empowerment
for students by students. The
National Haitian Student Alliance and the Pennsylvania
Haitian Student Association proudly presents the 10th
annual
National Haitian Student Conference
titled, "The Haitian Renaissance:
Where we come from, Where we are, Where we're going."
On March 2-4th, on the campus of the Pennsylvania State
University, State College, PA approximately 1,000 students
will gather to ignite The Haitian Renaissance.
With a mission to cultivate dialogue
that will promote
community building and activism through intense development
of health, financial, social and leadership skills, this
conference is determined
to motivate and
organize
its participants to work towards reclaiming the essence
of Haiti; a republic founded on innate leadership, beauty
and the indisputable motto of Unity.
This exciting three-day event will also feature the first
annual Haitian Idol, fifteen educational workshops led
by reputable experts, celebrity guest appearances and
recreational activities to include ice-skating and basketball
tournaments. The event will also include an elegant all
white banquet, a Cultural Expose, an electrifying Haitian
band and our traditional "Patriotic Sunday"
