Congratulations to all Haitian
students graduates
|
Keeping in mind the spirit of "L'union Fait La Force", we
would like to ask you to help us in acknowledging the accomplishments
and hard work of these students who represent the future leaders
of our community. Through out the month of June, these students
will be proudly featured on Akolad.com outlining their achievements.
So, come on board! Help us help the Haitian student community.
We realize how difficult your journey may have been and we
would like to commend your stellar efforts and achievements.
And to commemorate and show our deepest appreciation we are
giving away $100 US to 3 randomly selected graduates
this year.
We will also make a donation of $250 US on each winner’s
behalf to a legally registered non-profit organization of
their choice. The nominated organization MUST have programs
that help Haiti in any of the following areas: education,
health, agriculture/cultivation, child sponsorship, Orphanage,
and promotion of Haitian culture awareness.
How to enter:
1)
Be part of Akolad's 2009 Haitian Student Graduateion Commemoration
Photo Album
Send us a photo (graduation preferred) of yourself with
your full name ( First name, Last Name), degree(s), school
(name, city, and state), and any
award or Honor ( optional).

The photo should be clear, should not be more than 6 megabites
in size. Only pictures with extension as JPEG, JPG, BMP,
and GIF will be accepted. Pictures with friends or family
members during graduation time can also be used. See

2) Nomination of Non-profit organization:
Please, provide the non-profit organization: name, address,
phone, site, and a brief info on the organization. Tell
us why you have selected this organization in one or two
sentence(s). See

3) Send everything into ONE email to graduates@akolad.com.
DO NOT ATTACH the requested info into a separate document.
ONLY photos should be attached in the email. |

Important Dates and
Rules!

Dates:
- Submission deadline: June
22, 2009 - 11:59 PM EST
- Winners to be announced on: June 29, 2009 on
Akolad.com, and Facebook
- Album to be posted on Akolad.com and Facebook: June
29, 2009
Rules:
1) We can not guaranty your photos will be part of the
albums due to space constraints. We will use a "first
come, first serve" approach.
2) ONLY students who graduated this year from any 2
or 4 year College and/or University located in the United
States are eligible.
3) YOU
NEED to be of HAITIAN DESCENT ( no joke)
4) Any entry after the deadline will not be accepted
5) Akolad staff members and anyone from their families
are not eligible to win, but can still be part of the
album
6) All participants need to be at least 18 years of
age
7) All entries become property of Akolad, and you agree
to let Akolad post it online
8) Winners will be
randomly selected. All decisions will be FINAL.
9)
Akolad can
not be held responsible for any situation that may resolve
from participating in this effort.
10) By participating you have
agreed to all the listed rules. Your entry will become
void if you fail to follow any of the provided instructions.
