With the official motto "Home of the Haitian
Community Online", Akolad is an organization
founded and created in 1999 by Fritz Dumas Alcindor
with the Haitian student in mind, dedicated
to promote the Haitian culture and heritage,
participate in activities that impact the community
positively, and encourage awareness for
Haitian and non-Haitian cultures.
As a result, Akolad.com will thrive to serve
as a platform that enables the community to
discuss, and learn more about their origin,
their people, their history, and their country.
